Meet the Team

With 25 years of public service leadership, Patrick Patrong’s specialty is supervisory learning experiences and leadership development. Currently, Patrick is the Chief Diversity Officer at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, Virginia. Patrick has also served as the Chief Learning Officer for the cities of Baltimore and Richmond, University of Maryland, and Virginia Departments of Social Services Administration and Emergency Management. As a life learner, Patrick has completed the Commonwealth Management Institute and the Virginia Executive Institute.



On August 12, 2022, Patrick will complete his final academic pursuit with the completion of his Doctorate Degree in Strategic Leadership. The dissertation topic is centered around defining the role for leadership in the implementation of equity, diversity, and inclusion. Patrick is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with the Council for Six Sigma Certification. Academically, Mr. Patrong has earned a Bachelor of Science in Design Engineering, a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning, forty-five credit hours in post bachelorette studies, and currently engaged in doctoral studies with an emphasis on strategic leadership.
